Studio Policies
Below is an overview of general studio policies.  If you have a question not answered
here, please consult your child's teacher, the front desk, or feel free to
e-mail us.

DRESS CODE

    Leotards and tights (any color) must be worn to class.
    Bloomer shorts, biker shorts and ballet skirts can be worn.  
    No tee shirts, pants or shorts.  
    Hair must be worn up, if long.  
    No dangle  earrings worn in class; studs only.
    Dancing in socks is NOT allowed.

    Required shoes:

    All Competitive Classes: consult instructor      
    Ballet (6 yrs. & under): pink ballet        
    Ballet (7 yrs. & older): pink split-sole ballet      
    Tap (6 yrs. & under): black tap,
    Tap (7 yrs. & older): tan Capezio U-buckles      
    Jazz: tan gore boots or tan split-sole jazz      
    Lyrical: nude Bloch foot thong style #602      
    Tumbling: bare feet (footless tights)      
    Baton and Hip-Hop: sneakers      
    Irish Step: black ballet      
    Modern: bare feet          

    No dress code required for Boys', Baton, Hip-Hop or Adult classes.

FOOD/BEVERAGES

Food and  beverages are allowed only in our waiting area.  Only water is allowed in
dance studios.  We strictly enforce this policy.   

OBSERVATION  

Parents may observe class through one-way windows on the first lesson of each month
with the exception of September.     

CANCELLATIONS  

Call the studio one hour before scheduled class time or visit our website for
cancellations due to inclement weather.  We are sometimes open when schools are
closed.  Make-up classes will be available.  No refunds or credits.  

MISSED CLASSES  

Please call the studio if you cannot attend class due to illness, etc.  You may attend a
make-up class.  No refunds or credits.      

RECITAL & COSTUMES  

Our annual recital is held anytime from mid-May to beginning of June. Students need one
costume per routine at approximately $45-$55  each.  A non-refundable deposit of $45
per routine is due by Nov. 1st.  A $5.00 late fee will be applied after the 14th. Costumes
will not be ordered without deposit.  NO EXCEPTIONS.  You are responsible for all
remaining costume balances due by Feb. 15th.  A $5.00 late fee will be applied on the
March 1st for all unpaid balances. 2 yr. olds do not participate in recital.  If you wish not to
participate in recital please inform us asap for costume purposes.
