Competitive Dance Program

Competitive classes are more challenging, with a greater emphasis on technique and professionalism than our recreational classes. Additionally, competitive students have the option to participate in our exclusive Company classes, which rotate styles and teachers to create well-rounded, competitive dancers. ​​

Dancers who demonstrate unique aptitude across several styles of dance, as well as a positive attitude and desire to be a role model, may be invited to participate in our competitive program. ​

The Dance Works competitive team attends key competitions each spring, and participates in exclusive workshops and events geared toward preparing for a career in dance. ​

Competitive students sign a contract each year, committing to excellent attendance and a leadership attitude. ​Interested students new to The Dance Works should email us to schedule an audition. ​
