Food and beverages are allowed only in our waiting area
Only water is allowed in the dance studios

We strictly enforce this policy.

 


    

REGISTRATION FEE
A registration fee of $10 (per child or family) is required for all new students.  Siblings of currently enrolled students are exempt

CANCELLATIONS
Please call the studio one hour before scheduled class time or refer to the website for cancellations due to inclement weather.  We are sometimes open when haverhill schools are closed.  Make-up classes will be available.  No refunds or credits


MISSED CLASSES
Please call the studio if you cannot attend class due to illness, etc.  You may attend a make-up class.  No refunds or credits


PAYMENTS
Lessons are payable by the month and are due the first lesson of each month.
Printed bills are distributed only on tardy payments.
Discounts are given on 2 or more children from the same family, A $5 late fee (strictly enforced) will be applied after the 14th of the month on all tardy payments.  To avoid the late fee, payments may be mailed to the studio.  Please include your child's name on the check.  A $20 service fee will be charged for any returned check.

VACATIONS & HOLIDAYS
We will be closed on the following dates:
Columbus Day - Monday, October 12
Halloween - Friday, October 31
Thanksgiving - Wednesday Nov 25 thru Saturday, November 28
Holiday Season - Monday, December 21 thru Saturday January 2
February Vacation - Monday February 15 thru Saturday February 20
April Vacation - Monday April 19 thru Saturday April 24
Memorial Day - Friday May 28 and Monday May 31

OBSERVATION TIMES
Parents may observe class through one-way windows on the first lesson of each month with the exception of September

BRING A FRIEND WEEK
Twice yearly ONE friend may be invited to join your class.  No dance background needed!
Dates will be noted in the newsletter

MINI SESSION
We offer limited classes to new students from February thru the end of te school year. No recital participaction for this session

CLASS CANCELLATION
Any class is subject to cancelation due to lack of enrollment.

NOTE:  The Dance Works is not responsible for lost or stolen articles.




Dress Code
Leotards and tights (any color) must be worn to class.  Bloomer shorts, biker shorts and ballet skirts can be worn.  No tee shirts, pants or shorts.  No dress code required for Boys', Baton, Hip-Hop or Adult classes.  Hair must be worn up, if long.  No dangle earrings worn in class; studs only.

Baton and Hip-Hop - Sneakers
Irish Step - Black Ballet
Modern - Bare feet
DANCING IN SOCKS IS NOT ALLOWED

RECITAL & COSTUME

Recital is held anytime from mid-May to beginning of June.  Students need one costume per routine at approximately $45-$55 each.  A non-refundable deposit of $45 per routine is due by November 1st. A $5 late fee will be applied after the 14th. Costumes will NOT be ordered without deposit. NO EXCEPTIONS. You are responsible for all remaining costume balances due by Februrary 15th. A $5 late fee will be applied on March 1st for all unpaid balances.

Gymnastics, Baton, Irish Step and Hip-Hop participate in a separate recital.  Costume requirements are the same.  2 yr olds do not participate in recital.

If you wish not to participate in recital, please inform us asap for costume purposes.

   Offered to competitive students and professional/advanced adults
   Taught by outside, professional instructors/performers
